In Praise of Gouging!
What a breath of fresh air! Finally someone that understands basic econmonics and is willing to stand up and explain it in terms that others can understand. I have to admit that I hadn't paid much attention to John Stossel up to this point but he has definetly earned my respect now. Here is another great editorial from the WSJ, interestingly with the same title, that goes into more detail about why imposing artificial price controls or even removing the gas tax temporarily is a bad plan.
