Desperation Move
In a number of fighting video games characters will have a move or series of special moves that only become available when they are seriously injured. These so called 'desperation moves' are usually quite flashy, and not very good. My version of that is content that is neither flashy nor good, but which is done in desperation to forestall a greater evil. Thus I present Christmas Evil to fight an evil which must not be named.

Paper Folding
As most of us have at one time or another, I have folded some squares sheets of paper into animals, and boxes, and the occasional geometric shape. I learned this art originally from the Japanese exchange students my family starting hosting when I was about 10 or 11. It was always fun to see what new shapes or critters they could teach me. I have continued to dable with paper folding over the years. There was enough a brief span when working at Dish, where else, that I and a coworker went a bit overboard and filled a couple filling cabinet drawers with frogs and cranes. I don't know if we got 1000 but it was quite a few. But never have I folded anything nearly so detailed as these:

P.S. This post was in no way shape or form intended just to move Bailey's kilt pun from the top of the page.
